Come as You Are High Holy Day Services for 20s-30s
It won’t be your parents’ High Holy Day Services. Temple Micah’s new Next Dor High Holy Day services—just for Jews in their 20s and 30s—will be informal and filled with music led by Michelle Citrin. They will take place at the Temple, 2829 Wisconsin Ave., NW, at 7 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 8 for Rosh Hashanah eve, and at 7:30 pm on Friday, Sept. 17, for Kol Nidre. On Rosh Hashanah, come at 6:30 pm for wine, apples and honey. More information is available for Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre.
Micah Trip to Poland and Israel, March 23 - April 4, 2011
This will be an incredible experience—from the Shoah to rebirth. As you read the itinerary, you can see and feel the highlights: paying homage to the vibrant culture of Jewish life in pre WWII Poland, honoring the memories of Hitler’s victims by making pilgrimage to Auschwitz and other camps and then going on to Israel to experience our people’s return to history and the vibrant renewal of Jewish life that is the State of Israel. Please fill out the registration form asap to ensure we have enough people to go forward. Start here for all the details.
