Elul
Up one levelThe month of Elul, the twelfth month on the Jewish calendar year, is traditionally used to prepare for the holy day season and their Days of Awe. We look into ourselves. We evaluate our lives. We send a daily email for 40 days with a link to a short text, poem or reading relating to the theme of the current year. The Elul project is designed as a unifying undertaking, involving all members of the congregation in contemplation and discussion of the same texts. We hope the readings will spur many private conversations
