Guidelines on creating and changing log-in passwords

Passwords

Your password should be at least 6 characters long. Ideally, it should include a mix of upper- and lowercase letters and numbers.

Avoid using city names, street names, names of people (real or fictional), pet names, words found in a dictionary or popular book, phone numbers, birthdays, anniversaries or simple combinations of these. Avoid using a recognizable spatial pattern of keyboard characters, such as a couple of diagonal lines of keyboard keys, such as "njimko". Don't use digits associated with your social security number: it is too public and too valuable.

Changing Passwords

You can change your password by going to "My Preferences" below the tabs at the top of the screen. Just follow the on-screen instructions.
