On December 24, an El Al flight is approaching Ben Gurion Airport and the pilot is speaking to the passengers, "We will be landing in 20 minutes. " For security reasons, which I am sure you understand, from this point on, you must remain in your seats with the seatbelt fastened securely and you may not use a cellphone until you are inside the airport. Thank you for your cooperation."
As the plane comes to a stop at the jetway, the pilot again speaks to the passengers, "To those of you sitting quietly in your seats, thank you for flying El Al, welcome to Israel and Merry Christmas. To those of you standing and talking on your cellphones, welcome home and Happy Chanukah."
