New Members Group
Provides the opportunity for new members to meet with the clergy to learn about Temple Micah and to discuss issues relating to Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish community.
The New Member Group is for congregants who have joined Temple Micah since January 2009. These gatherings with our rabbis and cantor take place over breakfast on Sunday mornings with discussions based around issues that are important to the Temple Micah community. They range from learning about the symbols in the sanctuary and exploring the prayerbook we use during Shabbat worship, to being Jewish in America and examining one's personal theology, among other topics.
