Underwear Drive Sets “World Record”

6th grade thanks Temple Micah members.

Temple Micah’s annual Underwear Drive set a new record this year, donating 4,726 items to the Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place (CCH/FP).  “A new world record!” announced Bill Long, coordinator of volunteer and community education for CCH/FP.  Sixth graders and their parents spearheaded the drive to collect new underwear for homeless people, accepting contributions from Yom Kippur through October.
