Adult Choir
The Temple Micah Volunteer Adult Choir, led by Teddy Klaus, always welcomes new members.
To join, just come to a rehearsal - particularly a regular week night rehearsal. No formal try outs.

- Regular week-night rehearsals are on Thursday evenings during the school year (7:30-9:00 p.m.), usually the first and third Thursdays of the month; please be prompt!
- We sing at bar and bat mitzvahs on Saturday mornings throughout the fall, winter, and spring; rehearsals for those services begin at 9:00 a.m. (services begin at 10:15 a.m.)
- High Holiday rehearsals are most Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7:30-9:30 p.m.) during the month before the High Holidays and immediately before services. Some rehearsals are at MMUMC--please check schedule below.
- There are special services and events at which we perform, such as Choir Festivals (3/07/10) and the Shabbat Shira service in Shevat (1/15/11) of each year. In previous years we have performed the Bowen Jazz service and participated in the Adult Choral Festival at Strathmore Hall (3/2/08).

Please refrain from wearing excessive fragrances during rehearsals and performances. When we sing in such close proximity, we do want you to smell nice, but we also must be considerate of others - especially those singers who take good deep breaths before they sing (which should be everybody).
