Affinity Space for Jewish Middle Schoolers of Color

Temple Micah is pleased to be a participant in this newly-announced series of gatherings for Jewish middle school students of color* led by Jewish Educator and Rabbinical School student Kelly Whitehead (she/they). In this space, students from the DC area will focus on building friendships and community, in a relaxed and fun environment. ** The focus of this cohort is purely social, and meant to show students a space that looks different than their camps, synagogues, and other mostly-white Jewish spaces.

* A Jew of color is a self identified term
** Jews of color are not a monolith, and no one’s experience is the same.
