Comic enthusiast and crafter extraordinaire, Alison Litvin’s passion for storytelling is an inspiration for her work in the classroom. Alison graduated from Tel Aviv University’s International program with a B.A in Liberal Arts, after transferring from the University of Mary Washington’s School of Education. In Tel Aviv, Alison majored in Digital Culture and Communications and minored in Literature to explore the evolution of storytelling in the digital age. Upon graduation, Alison moved to Richmond, VA with the two Israeli street cats she rescued: Big Boss and Piper. Prior to coming to Micah, Alison was a teacher and then later principal at Congregation Or Atid’s Helen and Sam Kornblau Religious School. She joined Micah in May 2021. Outside of work, Alison enjoys cooking new dishes from around the world, and she can often be found experimenting with fusion cuisine.
