SUMMARY:Beytenu Gathering:  "The Last Battlefront" Film Screening and Discu

DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the work of FreeDC\, the Temple Micah community is 
 invited to a special screening of The Last Battlefront\, a one-hour docume
 ntary film highlighting the history of self-rule in Washington\, DC. The f
 ilm helps us understand the limits of representation in Washington\, DC an
 d what we can do about it. This film is a perfect springboard (and hyperlo
 cal of course) to consider the intersection of Judaism and voting rights.\
 n\nWe'll watch the film as a group\, and then reflect and discuss what we 
 learned in small groups. We will also share information about current camp
 aigns for self-government in DC and how to get involved.\n\nPlease RSVP in
