CANCELLED—Book Talk with Gayle Wald: ‘Friday Black’ by N. K. Adjei-Brenyah

This collection of short stories, selected for us by Professor Wald, would seem to be an excellent follow up to The Sellout, as the author of Friday Black explores themes surrounding black identity as it relates to a range of contemporary social issues. Adjei-Brenyah has been named one of the “5 Under 35 Authors” for 2018, by the National Book Foundation.
