Some two decades ago, Robert Putnam, Professor of Public Policy at Harvard, published Bowling Alone, which documented how we have increasingly become disconnected from each other and from social organizations that seek to bring us together. At Temple Micah, we work against this trend and Bowling B’yachad is a symbol of how we attempt to achieve this in our community.
Join us alongside Machon Micah on Sunday, January 8th, 2023, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Bowlero Bethesda as we bowl together as families. Please note this is not a drop-off activity. Lunch, snacks, and arcade credits are included. Please register in advance to join us; the cost to attend is $22/person. We never want cost to limit involvement; please reach out to Rabbi Beraha if cost is prohibitive.
