Refugee Shabbat, created by HIAS, is a moment for congregations, organizations, and individuals in the United States and around the world to dedicate a Shabbat experience to the experiences of refugees and asylum seekers. This year, we will hear from Maleka, one of the members of the Rasooli family that Sukkat Shalom supported as they immigrated as refugees to the United States.
