 \nAllan J. "Alonzo" Wind served from February 2022 – December 2023 as th
 e International Medical Corps Mission Director in Gaza and the occupied Pa
 lestinian territories (oPt)\, supervising a staff of seven expats of diffe
 rent nationalities and over 75 local Palestinian staff\, in Gaza and Bethl
 ehem. He was elected in 2022 to the Executive Committee of the Association
  for International Development Agencies (AIDA) and asked to serve on the U
 N OCHA Humanitarian Fund Advisory Board. Mr. Wind was resident in both Gaz
 a and East Jerusalem for nearly two years\, and in a unique position in Ga
 za as a senior Jewish American INGO leader\, also connected with the Baha
 ’i Community.\n\nMr. Wind is a retired Senior Foreign Service Officer fr
 om the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)\, having worked f
 or 22 years on diplomatic assignments with USAID primarily overseas in Per
 u\, Nicaragua\, Angola\, Nigeria\, Iraq\, Afghanistan and South Africa. He
  previously worked for fifteen years for different nonprofit private volun
 tary organizations in Ecuador\, Bolivia\, Dominican Republic and the UK am
 ong others\, also serving as the Global Programme Coordinator of the Inter
 national Save the Children Alliance Secretariat. Mr. Wind began his career
  as a Public Health Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador. He graduated from th
 e University of Chicago. He and his wife reside in Fairfax County\, Virgin
 ia. Mr. Wind also serves on the Boards of Directors of different NGOs\, in
 cluding Hunger Relief International\, supporting their efforts with the ne
 ediest in Guatemala and Haiti.\n\n&nbsp\;
