DESCRIPTION:with Temple Micah member and writer Liz Poliner and Rabbi Jean 
 Eglinton\nRegister\n\nCome make art with Jewish texts\, creative writing\,
  and visual imagery. No prior experience necessary. Our themes are food an
 d table. After exploring them in Liz’s writing\, Jean’s art\, and Talm
 ud and Tanakh\, we’ll combine writing and images together to each create
  our own work.\n\nPlease bring magazines and junk mail to use as earth-fri
 endly media. Snacks provided! Register in advance to let us know you'll be

 izabeth Poliner’s books include the novel As Close to Us as Breathing (L

 ze and finalist for the Ribalow Prize for Jewish fiction and the poetry co
 llection\, What You Know in Your Hands (David Robert Books). A new novel\,
  Spinning at the Edges\, is forthcoming from HarperCollins. She’s taught
  creative writing extensively\, including at Hollins University\, American
  University\, The Smithsonian\, and the Writer’s Center.\nAbout Rabbi Je

 hen became Jewish and was ordained at HUC in 2010. Since serving B’nai S
 holom in Huntington WV\, Rabbi Jean Eglinton makes Talmud-related art – 
 recycling junk mail to use as her media – as well as teaching Hebrew\, J
