 nals from North America with young Israelis for weekly online English conv
 ersations that build skills\, confidence\, and opportunity. This month’s
  presentation highlights the power of connections that bridge generations\
 , cultures\, and languages—and how volunteers transform lives one conver
 sation at a time.\nAbout the Speaker\nFollowing a career in non-profit man
 agement and workforce development\, Marla turned her lifelong passion for 
 Israel into action by establishing Skilled Volunteers for Israel and its f
 lagship program\, English B’Yachad.\n\nActive in the Reform Zionist comm
 unity\, Marla serves on the boards of American Reform Zionist Association 
 (ARZA)\; Arzenu (the constituency for Reform\, Progressive and Liberal Rel
 igious Zionists within the World Zionist Organization)\; and the American 
 Zionist Movement. She has served as co-chair of the budget committee for t
 he World Zionist Organization\, been an ARZA delegate to the World Zionist
  Congress\; and a member of the Board of Governors of the The Jewish Agenc
