Get to know Beth Werlin, Temple Micah’s executive director. Beth will tell us about her path to Temple Micah, including her background as a lawyer and her 20+ years working in the immigration justice movement. She’ll share what it’s like to make a career change and what she’s learned since working at Temple Micah, what the Temple Micah executive director actually does, and what’s it really like working with the rabbis. Beth Werlin is Temple Micah’s executive director. Prior to that, she advocated for immigrants’ rights for over 20 years, holding a variety of legal and policy positions at the American Immigration Council. She served as the Council’s executive Director from 2016-2020.
