Shira Zemel (she/her) is the Co-Director of National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)’s abortion access campaign, the coordinated Jewish movement for reproductive health, rights and justice. In this role, Shira activates and mobilizes the Jewish community to take action for abortion access. Shira has spent her career developing programs and campaigns that bring people together around a shared purpose and trains leaders to bring their Jewish values into the public square. Shira serves on the ARCH board, a local abortion fund serving patients seeking care in northern Virginia.

Glenn Northern

Glenn Northern (he/him) is the Abortion Access Campaign Co-Director for NCJW. Glenn brings more than twenty-five years of experience in the field of reproductive health, rights and justice to NCJW, where he co-directs Jews for Abortion Access, with a focus on partnerships and advocacy. Glenn has been advocating at the intersection of faith and reproductive freedom for the past ten years. Prior to joining NCJW, he led faith-based advocacy efforts at Catholics for Choice as the domestic program director. Previously, at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Glenn managed constituency relations, including outreach to communities of color and managing the Clergy Advocacy Board. Prior to that, he was the policy manager at the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
