Our annual People of the Book event will take place on Sunday, May 15th from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Temple Micah. We will kick off the morning with an AWESOME Boker Tov in the Sanctuary. The morning will include a Kids’ Journaling Workshop with Micah’s award-winning Erica Perl and illustrator Zara Gonzalez Hoang.
The event will also feature a book exchange, games, and food for sale. Jump in the bounce house and plan to buy lunch from the Hangry Panda Food Truck! Enjoy ice cream treats and visit with your Temple Micah Friends!
Participate in the Book Exchange:
Each participant is asked to choose ONE book that they LOVE to exchange for one that someone else loved.
Write on a sticky note: Why did you love this book?! Feel free to include your name.
We hope you will discuss the book with the donor after you finish reading it!
