 nversation with Rabbi Avi Dabush\, Director of Rabbis for Human Rights (RH
 R)\, a leading Israeli human rights organization guided by the core Jewish
  values of justice\, dignity\, and equality. Rabbi Dabush will share first
 hand insights into the courageous actions he and other Rabbis and Rabbinic
 al students in Israel are taking to combat settler violence and protect Pa
 lestinian villages and farmers in the West Bank.\n\nIn addition to his pow
 erful story as a survivor of the October 7th attack by Hamas on his home i
 n Kibbutz Nirim\, Rabbi Dabush will explore the meaningful ways he\, RHR\,
  and the New Israel Fund (NIF) are actively building a vision of justice\,
  safety\, and equality for both Israelis and Palestinians. This discussion
  offers a unique chance to hear from a leader on the ground in Israel\, an

 endance.\nAbout Rabbi Dabush\nRabbi Avi Dabush was born in Ashkelon to a r
 eligious\, right-wing\, Mizrahi family and attended Zionist-religious scho
 ols and the Bnei Akiva youth movement. In his early twenties he founded an
 d headed a school for children with autism. Over the last two decades he h
 as been involved in and has led several social organizations and movements
 \, including the Negev Council and the Movement of the Peripheries\, and w
 as one of the organizers of the Equality March in 2016 and 2022.\n\nRabbi 
 Dabush is director general of Rabbis for Human Rights\, author of the book
  The Periphery Rebellion and regular op-ed contributor for Haaretz and Isr
 ael Hayom newspapers. Avi was recently ordained at Beit Midrash for Israel
 i Rabbis\, holds an MA in organizational sociology from Ben Gurion Univers
 ity of the Negev and is a graduate of the Heschel Institute Sustainability
  Leadership Fellowship Program. He was awarded the New Israel Fund UK's hu
 man rights prize in 2021.
