Come for part of the evening or stay for it all! Costumes are optional but encouraged—don’t forget to bring a noisemaker or grogger! \n\nWhile the evening is free and open to all\, the pizza party at 5:15 p. m. requires pre-registration and costs $5 per person. Pre-register by Marc h 11.\nSchedule of Events\n5:15 p.m. – Pizza banquet and costume parade\ , leading straight to Shushan in our very own Temple Micah sanctuary. (Pre -registration required by March 11)\n6–7 p.m. – Purim One-Acts\, perfo rmed by our Machon Micah students\, featuring the Temple Micah Youth Choir and live music from our visiting artists.\n7–7:30 p.m. – Dessert & \; schmoozing in the lobby and upstairs library.\n7:30–8:30 p.m. – Meg illah reading and concert featuring our visiting artists.\nVisiting Artist s\nAmit Peled\, Guitar\nAmit Peled is a versatile musician with over a dec ade of experience in recording\, performing\, producing\, and touring worl dwide. He has played in diverse musical genres\, ranging from Jazz\, middl e-eastern\, and Oriental music to rock\, Hardcore Klezmer\, hip-hop\, elec tronic\, Avant-garde\, and Jewish music.\n\nHis seamless transition betwee n guitars\, bouzouki\, oud\, and baglama\, makes him one of the most inter esting musicians in NYC today.\nMehrnam Rastegari\, Kamancheh\nMehrnam Ras tegari is a renowned Persian musician\, composer\, singer\, violinist\, an d master Kamancheh player\, known for blending Persian music with rock and modern fusion styles. She has performed at prestigious international even ts such as the Bill Gates Goalkeepers 2024 event and renowned music festiv als like GlobalFest and WOMEX. As a master Kamancheh performer\, she has r eceived acclaim from top global artists and instructors\, and has contribu ted to projects with the World Music Institute and TEDx. Rastegari has com posed for over 10 films and has earned awards for her film scores\, includ ing the "Best Original Score" at the Melbourne City Independent Film Award s. Passionate about cultural exchange\, she inspires younger musicians in Iran\, Azerbaijan\, and Turkey\, helping them bridge tradition and innovat ion in their music.
