 is year.\nStarting in November\, we dove into Claudia Rankine’s Citizen:
  An American Lyric. This is a familiar title to some of you\, as we discus
 sed portions of it in 2022. Now\, Micah member Gayle Wald\, a George Washi
 ngton University professor of American Studies\, will lead us in a deeper 
 exploration of the book\, which combines poetry\, essays\, scripts\, and i
 mages to probe issues of citizenship\, microaggressions\, and anti-Blackne
 ss.\nAt&nbsp\;the end of our study\, we will consider what we want to&nbsp
 \;do&nbsp\;with the knowledge we have gained. How can we use insights glea
 ned from&nbsp\;Citizen&nbsp\;to make our Micah community a space of belong
 ing? To become better citizens of our own communities\, including our city
  or states and our nation?\nAttendance at a previous session is not requir
 ed to attend. Additionally\, please join us even if you don’t have time 
 to read the entire book.&nbsp\;\n\nWhen are the sessions?\n\n 	Thursday\,
