For six years, small groups of Temple Micah members and others, together with facilitators have been reading and discussing the book, “Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit” co-written by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality’s Rabbi Rachel Cowan (of blessed memory) and Dr. Linda Thal.
The groups we call cohorts usually meet for nine sessions to explore the journey of aging, learn from one another, and become part of the Wise Aging community.
During this time of Corona Virus, we are successfully growing and sustaining our connections using Zoom. On Monday September 13 at 10:00 am, a group of facilitators will offer “A Wise Aging Sampler” on themes from the high holidays via Zoom and provide more information on what the program is about.
To participate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
. For those of you who have taken the initial nine-week session, but have not joined an alumni group, if you find that this is now a better time, please let us know.
