Our beloved Avodah service reclaims the physicality of Yom Kippur worship. Liz Lerman, an award winning choreographer and MacArthur genius grant recipient, is a long-time member of Temple Micah. She has been helping us to explore the intersection of movement, prayer, and ritual; our service will incorporate responses to the Elul readings. We will all have the opportunity to move together, experimenting with the interplay between text and tech.
