Indoor services

Entrances and Seating

  • The entrance is located on Nebraska Avenue and can be accessed by either a short flight of stairs or a ramp. The flooring inside the building is uneven stone. 
  • Primary seating in the Nave is in thin pews. Free-standing chairs are set up in the wings, along corridors, and in between pews. These can be moved aside to accommodate a wheelchair. Space will be available between the front and back section of pews for wheelchairs.

Audio and Visual 

  • The sanctuary is equipped with an infrared assisted listening system. In-ear headsets are available and cleaned between services.
  • TV screens are located in the back half of the Sanctuary to display the bima activities.
  • All prayers are available in print form with transliteration. Transcripts of sermons and other commentary will be posted to the website. Rosh Hashanah prayer books weigh 1.3 lbs. Yom Kippur Prayer books weigh 2.3 lbs. Large print versions are available. Service sheets will feature 12 to 16 point fonts.

Wellness Room and Distanced Seating

  • There will be a wellness room adjacent to the sanctuary for sensory cooldown, nursing, allowing children to let off steam, and necessary nourishment on Yom Kippur.
  • The Great Hall will be an overflow room, with distanced seating and live feed from the sanctuary.

Outdoor services

  • The large, covered tent is located in the front parking lot on even pavement. 
  • Seating is free-standing chairs. Chairs can be easily moved aside to accommodate a wheelchair.
  • Services are open air and located at the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and New Mexico Avenue, meaning cars, walkers, and cyclists will be passing by the service. 
  • All prayers are available in print form with transliteration. Transcripts of sermons and other commentary will be posted to the website.  Rosh Hashanah prayer books weigh 1.3 lbs. Yom Kippur Prayer books weigh 2.3 lbs. Large print versions are available. Service sheets will feature 12 to 16 point fonts.
  • Optional apples and honey will be provided at the end of services. This is a high-sensory experience for taste and sound.
