“The music is the mystery, the music is the magic— the music is everything.”
— Rabbi Daniel G. Zemel
Music elevates our experience during worship services and other gatherings and events, bringing a sense of joy, inspiration, reflection, and meditation. Everyone is welcome to sing or play with us throughout the year, whether we are welcoming Shabbat, celebrating b’nai mitzvah, or capturing the joy of song during special services like Shabbat Shirah.
The choir at Temple Micah provides music during B’nai Mitzvah morning services, Shabbat Shirah, High Holy Days, and select community gatherings throughout the year. We rehearse approximately twice a month on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Singers of all ages and experience are welcome!
For more information and to join, please contact choir@templemicah.org.
Singers of all ages and experience are invited to join us September 30, November 11, and December 2, 2023 for our “Pop-Up Choir: Shabbat!” opportunity. Simply arrive at Temple Micah the morning of the service, rehearse early with the choir to learn the music, and sing – no further time commitment required!
