Pray For Voting Initiative

Temple Micah Supports New Pray For Voting Initiative

Pray for Voting is a racial justice project of the Stirring the Waters ministry of St. Columba’s Church in Washington, DC; without voting rights there can be no racial reconciliation and justice. Plans are underway to organize three nights of nonpartisan, interfaith, silent candlelight prayer and meditation called “Pray for Voting” this fall/winter.

Americans are deeply divided on voting. “Pray for Voting” will support 1) voting as a citizen’s right and responsibility 2) ready access to safe voting for all and 3) keeping voting secure for all.

Temple Micah is supporting this local, faith-based effort. To learn more, sign up here or follow Pray4Voting on Facebook.
