Hineni, which means “Here I Am,” is a volunteer committee that provides loving care to members in need. The Hineni Committee invites all members to take part in the rewarding ways we help grow connections in our Temple Micah community. Hineni volunteers reach out to those in our community who are ill, recovering from surgery or a hospital stay, bereaved, alone, or just in need of cheer. Hineni also hosts intergenerational events to build bonds between all congregants.
With a friendly call, a helping hand, a ride, a prepared meal, groceries, a challah or a holiday goodie package, we can brighten someone’s day.
