We offer a variety of classes throughout the year and regularly host experts, academics, and pundits (including staff, clergy, and community members) to discuss current events, spirituality, and more.
Do you want to learn how to read Hebrew and chant Torah? Do you hope to deepen your feeling of connection to a community? Do you want to expand your thinking on a myriad of Jewish topics and have thought provoking discussions? If you answered, “Yes!” to these questions, our Adult B’nai Torah class may be the right fit for you.
This class, which is led by Rabbi Stephanie Crawley with guest teaching from our other rabbis, will take place on Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Temple Micah over the next year-and-a-half, with a break for the summer. It will culminate with members of the class being called to Torah in the spring of 2026.
Registration is now closed. Please contact info@templemicah.org for more information.
The Wednesday Morning Group, led by Rabbi Zemel, explores different themes each year. The 2025 group will explore “Eight Texts That Shape My Thinking” — eight texts that have helped to inform Rabbi Zemel’s theology and approach to Judaism. The texts range from the Bible through rabbinic literature to the contemporary.
