A Letter from North American Jews to the Israeli Government

On behalf of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, I am inviting you to sign a letter from North American Jews to the Israeli Government: Make a Deal Now to Bring the Hostages Home, End the War.
As Rabbi Jacobs, CEO of T’ruah wrote: ” Pidyon shvuyim, the redemption of captives, is considered a “mitzvah gedolah,” one of the most important mitzvot…The Shulchan Arukh, the most important Jewish law code, even compares one who delays redeeming captives to a murderer.”
The families of the hostages are desperate for their loved ones to be returned. Israelis have taken to the streets by the thousands to bring the hostages home. Let’s support their plea.
