Beth Werlin was thrilled to bring her nonprofit management experience to Temple Micah in August 2021. Prior to that, she channeled her passion for social justice into the immigrants’ rights movement, holding a variety of legal and policy positions at the American Immigration Council. She served as the Council’s executive Director from 2016-2020. Beth is a Boston native and earned her BA from Tufts University and her JD from Boston College Law School. She is a long-time book club member, a runner, and a challah baker. She and her husband Michael are the proud parents of Sarah Rose and Aaron. You can find them walking the streets of Tenleytown and cheering for the DC sports teams.
