Due to inclement weather and the very muddy condition of the cemetery, we regret to announce that the Memorial Service scheduled for Sunday, September 29 is cancelled.
Just before Rosh Hashanah each year, we gather at Mount Lebanon Cemetery for a memorial service. The traditional name for this service is “Kever Avot” or “Graves of our Ancestors.” This name aptly teaches us that we begin a new year by remembering and honoring our past. We look backward at our loved ones even as we move forward.
We will meet in the Temple Micah section (8B) of Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Adelphi, MD Weather permitting.
In case of inclement weather, an email notification will be sent Sunday morning should cancellation be required.
