We’re taking the next step as we partner with our Sukkat Shalom friends to set up an apartment for a refugee family. Beytenu will be stocking the kitchen! Here is a signup genius with a list of all the items needed. You can buy the items anywhere you like, and then bring them to the Beytenu Gathering (or you can drop them off another day at soon to-be-determined spot).
During the meeting, we’ll:
Hear more about Sukkat Shalom from folks in the Micah community
We’ll do a fun craft project (big shoutout to Jill Berman who will teach us how make throw pillows!) to help make the family’s new place feel more like home — again, fun and easy and creative for all ages, and
We’ll learn more about the specifics and logistics of the apartment set up itself.
