Federal workers, contractors for federal agencies, and non-profits that rely on federal grants are facing rapid and unsettling changes, including the widespread threat (and sometimes the reality) of layoffs. Amid those challenges many are asking “Where do I begin?” or “How can I make a transition during this time of uncertainty?” Whether you have been laid off or are concerned you might be, it is important to have both a plan and a response.

Hear from Jason Levin, author of Relationships to Infinity: The Art and Science of Keeping in Touch and Lori Mihalich-Levin, author of Back to Work After Baby as they outline strategic and tactical approaches around making a transition:

  • How can I manage stress during this uncertainty?
  • How should I best spend my job seeking time?
  • What resources are available in the current environment?
  • How can I leverage my current relationships to find new opportunities?
  • How should I think about my LinkedIn profile, resume and cover letter?

This program is open to Temple Micah members and will be held in-person only; no online or live stream option is available. Please login to ShulCloud to register by February 27 at 5 p.m.
