Jewish Americans are responding to the climate emergency with stepped-up advocacy that goes beyond localized “greening.” Lawrence MacDonald, author of “Am I Too Old to Save the Planet?” will provide an update. Rabbi Zemel will speak on “The Jewish Framework for Caring for Our Earth,” and Dahlia Rockowitz of Dayenu: A Jewish Voice for Climate Action will tell us about her organization.

Lawrence MacDonald is the author of “Am I Too Old to Save the Planet? A Boomer’s Guide to Climate Action” and co-lead of the Dayenu Circle at Temple Rodef Shalom.
Dahlia Rockowitz is the Director of Campaigns and Partnerships at Dayenu, a national Jewish call to climate action. She previously worked in both the climate and Jewish social justice movements, planning activist trainings for thousands of committed volunteers around the world at The Climate Reality Project and advocating to the US government in support of human rights and climate justice worldwide at American Jewish World Service.
