At Micah, we know that life’s journeys are meant to be shared. Many of us are learning what it means to parent children who are exploring and affirming their gender identities. We are navigating questions of identity and language and what it means to show up for each other and for our children, no matter their age. We know how meaningful it can be to connect with others who share similar experiences, and we trust these conversations will be richer if we do this in community with each other.
As parents of adult non-binary children, Rabbi Dr. Kari Tuling and Martha Adler invite you to join them in the new year as they convene a new group for parents of gender non-conforming children – of any age. We will share texts as well as personal stories. After the initial two meetings, the group will explore together how it might move forward.
