Join with Temple Micah and the wider Jewish community next Wednesday, February 11th as we stand together in solidarity and reject cruel immigration policies that dehumanize our neighbors. The demonstration at ICE headquarters—organized by T’ruah and Bend the Arc—will begin at Maryland Avenue Linear Park, SW at 1:30 pm. Temple Micah is proud to co-sponsor this event.
Our group will gather under a Temple Micah banner at the Linear Park circle across from The Salamander hotel (formerly the Mandarin Oriental). The site is a less than 5-minute walk from the Smithsonian Metro stop. Take the South exit from the Smithsonian metro station, then take a right on 12th Street SW and then another right on Maryland Avenue SW.
If you’d like to meet up in advance (1:00-1:15 pm), please exit the Smithsonian Metro station from the National Mall exit and look for Rob Mayer at the top of the escalator. For those driving, please note that parking is limited and expensive, but nearby valet parking is available at The Salamander (for about $50).
Dress warmly—and bring your righteous indignation and a shofar if you have one!
