Biblical narratives, especially in Genesis, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Esther, and Jonah, are as sophisticated as your favorite short stories by contemporary authors. We will learn how to read them.
Rabbi Marc Lee Raphael is a long-time Micah member, an Emeritus professor of religious studies at William and Mary, and an Emeritus rabbi of Bet Aviv in Columbia, Maryland. He and his wife, Dr. Linda Raphael, live in Woodley Park.
