Joelle Novey directs Interfaith Power & Light, through which hundreds of congregations of many traditions across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia are working together to save energy, go green, and respond to climate change. Joelle speaks widely about the role of religious communities in addressing the climate crisis, and serves on the advisory board of Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action. She lives with her family in Silver Spring, and attends Minyan Segulah in Shepherd Park.
