Join Rabbi Joshua Beraha on Wednesday, December 2, 9, and 16 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon at Temple Micah to discuss “A Bride for One Night” by Dr. Ruth Calderon, in advance of her visit in January 2027.
Calderon pairs Talmudic tales, presented in translation, with imaginative re-tellings and commentary, giving fresh voice to an ancient literature. Each session will focus on one or two stories, assigned in advance. Each story, together with Calderon’s retelling and commentary, is about six pages long.
