In turbulent times, it’s easy to feel anxious or alone. Jewish community has always been our antidote—rooting us in tradition and reminding us that we’re not meant to face uncertainty on our own. As Genesis teaches, “לֹא־טוֹב הֱיוֹת הָאָדָם לְבַדּוֹ—it is not good for the human to be alone.” As one small way of being together in these uncertain times, furloughed workers are invited to join us for a Shutdown Study Session (with snacks!) with Temple Micah rabbis on Thursday, November 6 and Thursday, November 13 from 1-2 pm in-person at Temple Micah. We’ll be studying texts that speak to this moment.
No registration is required. Come as you are.
