Join us at Palisades Hub (5200 Cathedral Ave NW) for Yemen Blues, a genre-defying ensemble led by Israeli-Yemeni singer and composer Ravid Kahalani.
Drawing on Yemenite Jewish musical traditions alongside West African, Middle Eastern, jazz, funk, and Afrobeat influences, the band creates a sound that is deeply rooted yet unmistakably contemporary. Known for their explosive live performances, Yemen Blues brings together virtuosic musicianship, powerful grooves, and Kahalani’s commanding vocals in music that crosses cultural and musical boundaries.
Note: this venue will be mostly standing-room only. Beer and wine available for purchase. Free, unzoned street parking is available.
