Temple Sinai and its Davis Center for Social Justice are hosting a screening of the film “Zurawski v Texas” at the Avalon Theatre in NW DC on Thursday, September 18 at 7 p.m. This critically acclaimed film follows women who have been denied abortions in Texas despite life-threatening circumstances as they join forces with a lawyer to file a lawsuit against the state. Molly Duane, the attorney featured in the film, will lead a discussion following the film screening.
