Rock Creek Park, 3901 Shoemaker Street NW (Just South of Pierce Mill) Held on the Sunday after Rosh Hashanah at Rock Creek Park , the Tashlich ceremony offers us a chance to symbolically cast our sins of the previous year into the water and begin the New Year with a fresh start. We will gather by the river for a brief service, followed by time for picnics, field games, and catching up with friends old and new. In an effort to protect the beauty of the park, please do not bring bags of bread. We will cast pebbles and dust from our pockets instead. Please bring a picnic lunch for your family, blankets to sit on, and sports equipment if you so choose.
