Lunch and Learn with Philip Mayer – Reflections on the Musical Road that Led to Micah

Philip Mayer, Temple Micah’s Music Director, will share his personal story and musical journey—the experiences, influences, and moments that shaped him as a musician and ultimately led him to Temple Micah. From studying tabla in India as a young man to performing at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi to playing on Broadway, Philip will reflect on the path that took him around the world and through 15 years as a freelance musician in New York City, and how those experiences continue to shape the way he thinks about music, community, and purpose today.

Register before 5 p.m. the Sunday before for in-person lunch ($10) or by the next evening for the Zoom link.
