We have reached a very exciting milestone. As Temple President Roberta Aronson shared on December 17, the Board of Directors is recommending Rabbi Josh Beraha to be the next Senior Rabbi of Temple Micah.
Pursuant to our bylaws, the Board must call a special meeting of the membership in order to vote on whether to accept the recommendation. Two-thirds majority of those voting members shall determine whether a new Senior Rabbi shall be engaged. The special meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 7 p.m., and we encourage all members to participate.
Members, please RSVP so we can plan for the reception to follow. For those who are unable to join in person, there will be an option to participate via Zoom. Please note, as discussed below, online participants will not be permitted to vote on January 6; all remote voting must be done by January 2, 2026.
Members are invited to vote in one of two ways:
Early Voting from December 19, 2025 through January 2, 2026: Members may vote electronically through ShulCloud or by completing a paper ballot and emailing or mailing it to Temple Micah as indicated on the ballot.
In Person on January 6: Members may vote in person at the January 6, 2026, special meeting at Temple Micah. Members who plan to participate in the meeting via Zoom must vote electronically by January 2. Electronic voting will not be accessible after that date.
