Join the Climate Action Group for a special presentation on the power of native plants to help people and wildlife. We will be joined by guest speaker Dr. Mirele Goldsmith, an environmental psychologist, educator, activist, and co-founder of Jewish Earth Alliance, a national advocacy coalition raising a moral voice on climate change to the US Congress.
Registrants will have the opportunity to take home a FREE native plant kit. Instructions from the National Wildlife Federation on how to plant and care for your kits will be provided. Please register in advance to attend.

Dr. Mirele Goldsmith is an environmental psychologist, educator, and activist. Mirele is an expert in how to change human behavior to solve environmental problems and build a sustainable future. She is the co-founder of Jewish Earth Alliance, a national advocacy coalition raising a moral voice on climate change to the US Congress.
Goldsmith attended the U.N. Summit on Climate Change in Copenhagen and organized Jews to participate in the People’s Climate Marches in New York and Washington. She directed Hazon’s Jewish Greening Fellowship, mobilizing 55 synagogues and organizations in the New York City region to respond to climate change. She has shared Jewish environmental teachings in interfaith settings, including Kathmandu, the Salisbury Cathedral and the Parliament of World Religions, and participated in the Green Attica Symposium in 2018.
